After he recently announced that he plans to retire his rap alias, news broke that Mos Def (the actor) will be featured in the upcoming sixth-season of the hit "Dexter" television series. The rapper-now-actor recently signed a deal to appear in a multi-episode arc on the upcoming season of the Showtime hit-series.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Mos will play a "hardened ex-con who claims to have found religion yet seems to continually find himself surrounded by violence." The main-character, played by actor Michael C. Hall, will then attempt to get down to the bottom of who he actually is.
