Mos Def is a wanted man in Las Vegas according to TMZ. Vegas police are on the look out for Dante Terrell Smith, also known as Mos Def, after he allegedly attacked a fashion photographer in August at the Mens Apparel and Garment Industry Convention. Volker Cornell says when he was taking pictures of Mos at the MAGIC show, Mos Def ripped his camera off his neck, smashed it to the ground and then left with the broken equipment leaving Cornell, he alleges, with a cut on his hand.
In related news, Mos Def is currently working on a new album called "The Ecstatic" due in stores on February 9th of next year. The first single "Life In Marvelous Times" [listen here] was officially released yesterday. Mos also has been doing a lot of acting lately and will appear in the upcoming films "Cadillac Records," "Next Day Air" and most recently signed on to be adaption of Iceberg Slim's "Mama Black Widow" alongside Rihanna, Macy Gray and Anthony Anderson.
