    After jumping on stage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys "Empire State of Mind" performance at this years MTV Video Music Awards, Lil Mama has now released a freestyle of the Jay-Z single. First, Lil Mama talked about the rumors that the entire thing was a publicity stunt. "I don't know what's being thought or what's being perceived or what people think is out there that I might have put out there. We got people leaking footage from three, four, five months ago saying
I'm addressing an issue that has occurred at the VMA's, totally not. If
I'ma address an issue, I'ma do it correct. I'm from Brooklyn, son. 'I

    Lil Mama then jumps into the freestyle.     Lil Mama has issued a statement. "I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys,"
the statement reads. "I admire them and look up to them as role models.
‘Empire State of Mind’ had my emotions running high. In that moment I
came up onstage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY," she said.
