The make-a-wish foundation has tapped Nas
to help with a special request froma 13-year-old boy, Darnell Hicks, who wants
to meet his favorite emcee. Hicks was diagnosed at the age of 2 with Duchenne,
a form of muscular dystrophy that normally kills the host by the time they are
in their 20's.
Confined to a wheelchair since the age of 10, Darnell will
be flown out today (3/5) to Los Angeles where he
will attend Nas concert and then get to meet the Queens
rapper afterward. Hicks will not only have his dream fulfilled, he will also
get to check out Universal Studios and Disneyland
on his trip.
