Nas Asks To Stop Paying & Joint Custody

Although the couple appeared to be reconciled their differences recently, Nas has requested a judge to block paying over $72,000 a month in spousal support to his estranged wife, Kelis. The rapper filed the papers this week via his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan and also asked for joint custody of their two-mont-old baby while Kelis continues to ask for the support.
In a recent radio interview, Method Man and Redman were asked their thoughts on Nas having to pay $55,000 a month in child support, the rap duo had one thought "thats bullshit." [Method Man & Redman Talk Nas Paying Child Support - Watch Here]
As we previously reported, the couple seemed to be getting back together. "I'm happy Kelis is out with the baby and Nas," Russell Simmons wrote Tuesday (September 15) evening after seeing the couple together. "It made my heart happy! I know I speak for all GG when I say we wish them only happiness.
