2pacs Mothers House Burnt Down

A North Carolina home belonging to Afeni Shakur -Davis, the mother of slain rapper Tupac Shakur, burned to the ground on Friday night (July 6).

According to WXIA-TV, there was nobody home when the fire broke out and no injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze is still unknown and authorities are investigating its cause.

"I would sincerely like to thank the professional & volunteer firefighters and our neighbors who quickly came to our rescue and helped extinguish the fire," Ms. Shakur-Davis said via a statement. "We are truly blessed to have their vigilant and neighborly care. We were fortunate that no one was at the home at the time."
