BET recently announced its line-up of new shows for the upcoming fall seasons, including the 2007 Hip Hop Awards and "American Gangster 2."

Among BET's new programming is "Hip Hop vs. America," a multi-episode program featuring Master P, Nelly, Chuck D, Rev. Al Sharpton and journalist Stanly Crouch critiquing and debating the many facets of hip-hop culture.

Two other new additions to BET's fall line-up include Paul Mooney's comedic take on court shows in "Judge Mooney," "BUFU," an animated sketch comedy show executive produced by comedian Orlando Jones and Ali LeRoi ("Everybody Hates Chris").

Other new shows to be added to the network's rotation are "Living The Life Of Marley," a reality series focused around reggae star Ky-Mani Marley as he records an album, "Sunday Best," which will comb the country in search of the next great gospel singer, and "College Hill Interns," a spin-off of the original College Hill reality series.

Returning shows will include "American Gangster 2," narrated by Ving Rhames, which will continue to chronicle the rise and fall of many of Black America's most notorious criminals, as well as Keyshia Cole's hit reality series, "The Way it Is," following Cole's in both her personal and professional lives.

After a successful show last year, the BET Hip Hop Awards will also air this fall. Scheduled to air on October 17 at 9 p.m. EST, the evening will feature some of hip-hop's biggest names as the show honors the achievements of hip-hop artists.

"BET Networks is committed to bringing our audience programming that not only entertains them but that also strikes a chord and engages them," said Debra Lee, chairman and chief executive officer of BET networks. "We're excited that these latest additions further diversify our line-up and will appeal to a wide range of viewers within our core audience."
