Fergie Lands Sex and the City Theme, will.i.am Wins Artist Of The Year

    Fergie, the Black Eyed Peas singer and part time rapper, has been chosen to create the theme for the upcoming movie Sex and The City. Her track "Labels Or Love" will be featured in the film, as well as on a new deluxe edition release of her album The Dutchess. Souljaboy and Nelly are featured on two of the deluxe edition's four new tracks, which includes "Labels or Love," a cover version of Heart's "Barracuda," "Clumsy (Souljaboy Remix)"; and "Party People" featuring Nelly. The deluxe edition will be  in stores May 27th, while the highly anticipated big screen version of the hit HBO original series, Sex And The City, will hit the world on May 30th.

    In related news, fellow Black Eyed Peas member, Will.I.Am recieved Artist of the Year honors yesterday, that the Webbys, for his pro Barack Obama video, “Yes We Can.” The black and white video was directed by Bob Dylan’s son, Jesse, and features a number of notables chanting Obama’s familiar refrain: “Yes We Can.
