Taboo from Black Eyed Peas to star in Street Fighter movie

Rapper Taboo of the group Black Eyed Peas' will be hitting the big screen in the second version of "Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun-Li." Taboo, whose real name is Jaime Luis Gomez, will star in the second movie adaptation of the popular video game 'Street Fighter.'
Other actors in the film will include Kristin Kreuk, Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Klein and Neal McDonough.
The role that Taboo, 32, will play has not yet been officially announced, but rumor has it that he will play Vega. Taboo's other film credits include a cameo appearance in "Be Cool," "Dirty," and "Cosmic Radio."
The movie is scheduled to begin filming sometime in March in Bangkok,
Hong Kong and Vancouver and is set to hit theaters in March of 2009.
Hong Kong fight choreographer Dion Lam, who previously worked on "The
Matrix" Trilogy and "Spider-Man 2" is handling the fight sequences.
The first movie adaptation of "Street Fighter" was released in 1994 and starred martial arts star Jean-Claude Van Damme.
