St. Louis rapper Chingy has reportedly left Capitol records to sign with Island Def Jam. Hmm I wonder why? F*cking up the relationship with the guy who got you signed *cough* Ludacris *cough* or flopping on the last few records you put out?

According to Billboard, Chingy (born Howard Bailey) has already begun working on his fourth album, titled Hate It  Or Love It, which will hit shelves later this year.

The rapper has already crafted songs with Anthony Hamilton, Rihanna, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. He also has plans to collaborate with former *Nsync frontman Justin Timberlake

As SOHH previously reported, Chingy settled his differences with Ludacris and has returned to the Disturbing The Peace imprint. He will appear on DTP's forthcoming compilation album titled Strength In Numbers which will feature tracks from various DTP members, including Bobby Valentino, I-20 , Serius Jones , Playaz Circle, Shareefa, Field Mob and Small World.

Strength In Numbers will hit stores on september 18th.
