DJ Khaled Signs Deal With Def Jam

Today Antonio "L.A." Reid announced that Terror Squad member, and famous DJ, DJ Khaled has signed a deal for his label, "We The Best" Music, with Def Jam Records. The new deal is named after DJ Khaled's second album, We The Best, that had hit the number one spot on the Billboard independent albums chart. We The Best had two hit singles including "We Takin' Over" that features Akon, T.I., Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Birdman & Lil’ Wayne and “I’m So Hood,” which features T-Pain, Trick Daddy, Plies & Rick Ross.

"I'm proud to be a member of the Def Jam family," DJ Khaled said. "Def Jam has been and still is one of the most important institutions in Hip-Hop and music as a whole. I am extremely honored and excited to be a partner with them in We The Best Music."
