Gnarls Barkley Goes Backwards

Gnarls Barkley released their album, The Odd Couple, a month ago and now they think it's time to re-release it, this time, it's backwards. That's right, the group is releasing their entire album, of course called Elpouc Ddo Eht, as one 39 minute track consisting of all thirteen songs from The Odd Couple, in reverse. Fan's can goto www.fronttobackbacktofront.com, register, and download the album for free.

The Odd Couple was released on March 18th, nearly a month early. Many people thought the early relase was due to internet bootlegging but a spokesman for the band gave a different perspective saying “They felt the timing was right to just go for it,” continuing, “With the shifting seasons, furtive romantic entanglements and fierce college basketball rivalries, the latter half of March can be confusing. People need to be soothed and inspired now.”

In other news, earlier this month Gnarls Barkley was announced as one of the headliners for this year's Lollapalooza festival which will also feature Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Kid Sister, The Cool Kids, Rage Against The Machine and Radiohead. The event will take place at Chicago’s Grant Park August 1-3, where the concert has made it’s home since 2005.
