Ice Cube is continuing his movie career. Cube has reunited with director Marcus Raboy, who directed the last "Friday" movie, along with Mike Epps for a new flick called "Janky Promoters." Terry Crews, star of "Everybody Hates Chris," will also join the three for the movie. “Janky Promoters” follows a pair of shady concert promoters (Cube and Epps) who get in deep trouble when presented with the chance to book a marquee hip-hop name for a big show. The big name will be a rapper but they haven't figured out who yet.
“[The movie] is cut from the same stone as “Friday,” Raboy said in a statement. “It’s definitely new characters and a new world here, but it’s of the same vibe. It’s gonna be grounded but colorful. We’re not trying to do broad comedy; we’re trying to do comedy with an edge.” Cube will produce the film alongside his Cube Vision partner Matt Alvarez
