J Lo Launches Lingerie Line

J. Lo and her Sweetface Fashion venture are teaming up with her own line of lingerie according to the Associated Press.
The JLO by Jennifer Lopez Lingerie collection should be out in stores in the Fall of 2004. The lingerie collection will be inspired by Lopez's style, according to a news release from The Warnaco Group, which also manufactures Calvin Klein and Speedo apparel.
People who want the line, it will be carried in department stores and specialty stores across the nation, and according to reports will be marketed overseas, as well.
J.Lo is the creative director and will design sleepwear and loungewear along with bras and panties. And just like her clothing line, the collection will include full-figure lingerie
"Our goal as a lifestyle brand is to dress our consumers from head-to-toe with products inspired by Jennifer, and lingerie will be an integral part of the JLO look," Denise Seegal, president and CEO of Sweetface Fashion Company, said in the news release. |
