The Associated Press is reporting that a New York State Supreme Court judge is concerned about Ja-Rule putting up thousands of dollars in bail money for his two co-defendants in his gun possession case. Justice Micki Scherer feels that Ja Rule "put himself in the position of perhaps controlling the outcome of the case. I think the potential for it is a big problem." The case that he is talking about comes from a July 22nd arrest after a Lil Wayne concert at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan. Ja was stopped by the NYPD after they smelled maijuana and ended up finding a .40 caliber pistol when they searched the car. The Rule put up his mansion in River, NJ as collateral for their combined bail of $320,000. Ja Rule's attorney, Stacey Richman, told the court that the defence will do seperate bail packages for the other two men. The judge is expected to rule next month on the prosecurtor's request for DNA samples from Ja & his two friends since police reportedly found DNA evidence on the gun.
