Jay-Z Tops Rappers In Forbes Celebrity 100 List

Forbes Magazine recently released its "Celebrity 100" list which features a list of the top 100 celebs based on their past years income from payments, web mentions, press mentions and TV mentions. Jay-Z landed at number seven making $82 million last year with many deals including a major contract with Live Nation who will release his future albums and run his tours. Jigga's new wife Beyonce came in number 4th, while Justin Timberlake landed in the number 12th slot.
Will Smith was the only other "rapper" to break into the top 25, making an estimated $80 million last year. Other rappers that people expected to make the list like Kanye West and 50 Cent, landed just out of the top 25, with 50 coming in at #26 and Kanye at number 27. The G-Unit leader pulled his money mainly through his ventures with about $150 million and West brought in about $30 million.
