Kanye West, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake are among the artists participating in an All-Star Johnny Cash video tribute for his latest single, "God's Gonna Cut You Down."
The video has the aforementioned stars dressed in all black and features actor Terrence Howard, comedian Chris Rock, U2 front man Bono, actor Johnny Depp and The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards among 36 other cameos. Word is the concept of the video is a collaborative effort between legendary producer Rick Rubin, Timberlake and Mark Romanek, who also directed Jay's "99 Problems" video. The single is taken from Cash's American V: A Hundred Highways album. The song premiered yesterday (November 9) on MTV, VH1 and CMT.
The video will be streamed live at online outlets such as AOL, Napster, YouTube, Yahoo, Windows Media and Quicktime. It will then go on sale at iTunes on November 21. -Sohh.com |
