Lil Kim Leaves Her Label, Goes Independent

After her last album, "The Naked Truth", sold close to 400,000 copies, Lil Kim has decided to leave her label, Atlantic Records. Lil Kim has stated that she has always wanted to release her music independently, and untill now she was simply afraid to. There are rumors that Kim will join Fat Joe on Capitol's Music's Independent label, Imperial Records, but her managers have yet to comment. Her new album is slated to be released in April or May.
