After Lil Wayne’s bus was stopped at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint outside Dateland, AZ on Tuesday and 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine and 41 grams of ecstacy were found on it, Lil Wayne was arrested by the local DEA agents.

Today the Yuma County Attorney’s Office formally filed felony drug and weapons charges against Lil Wayne.  According to the local ABC affiliate, Lil Wayne was present at the court hearing, where he was charged with one count each of possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia. The judge did lift a restriction that has been prevented Lil Wayne from leaving the state.

Next up is a preliminary hearing on February 12th.
