Lil Wayne is one of many music industry figures that will be appearing at this years BMI Unsigned Urban Showcase. The 11th annual event will take place at 9pm on the 24th at the Luckie Lounge in Atlanta, GA. The showcase will feature four aspiring artists who perform in front of a group of celebrity judges. The aspiring artists include R&B artist Brandon Hines, Jarren Brenton, Holly Weerd and Trimm, who beat out 300 others to get the spot.
The celebrity judges will include Don Vito, Universal Music Publishing VP Ethiopia Habtemariam, DJ Toomp, DJ Montay, entertainment lawyers Reid Hunter and Sandra Brown, No I.D., songwriters J. Que and Ezekiel "Zeke" Lewis, Keri Hilson, Teddy Bishop, Lil C "C Gutta," and Bad Boy director of A&R and songwriter/producer Slam. There will be preformances by Sean Garrett and Star Trak/Interscope artist Teyana Taylor.
