As we reported yesterday, there have been rumors going around that Lil Wayne's new album, Tha Carter III, had been pushed back. We can now confirm that the rumors are true. The sixth solo album and the first since his 2005 Tha Carter II, will now hit stores on June 10th, via Young Money / Cash Money / Universal Motown.
Wayne told Billboard that "It's one of those albums people are really waiting on, so I made it so that whatever is on it will stick with you forever. I'm taking my time with it. And I'm giving artists I respect and people I want to do songs with -- not songs the label fixed -- an opportunity to collaborate."
