Lil' Wayne and his lawyers are trying to get the drug charges filed against him in Arizona reduced from intent to sell to the lesser charge of possession. The Associated Press is reporting that they filed a motion in the Yuma County Superior Court on Friday (3/7). James Tilson, Wayne's attorney, is pointing out that Lil' Wayne was orriginally accused of being found with twenty nine grams of cocaine but claims the lab reports show he had less than eight. In Arizona, nine grams or more automatically means intent to sell and if his claims are true, Wayne could get probation instead of jail time. This all stims from an incident last month when Wayne's tour bus was stopped and he was charged and indited with one count each of possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Lil Wayne maintains his innocence.
