R-Kelly Says Hes A Victim Too, Speaks Out About Lawsuits

Milton Kenneth Peacock recently filed a lawsuit against Leonard Rowe (promoter of the "Double Up" Tour), claiming that he sold non-existent shares in three of the dates of the tour. The lawsuit says that Rowe promised investors half of the profits from the three Kelly concerts in return of $440,000. It goes on to say that Rowe gave the investors false accounting saying the shows lost money and as a result no profits were made.

R-Kelly was also named in the suit and now he is speaking out. "I agreed to let Leonard Rowe promote my tour because he convinced me he was an underdog who deserved a chance to prove himself," Kelly said. "Like the saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished." Kelly says he was scamed by Rowe too and feels for the investors. “I have complete sympathy for all of the good people who were swindled by Rowe and I will do everything I can to help them get their money back from him," Kelly said.
