As we previously reported, R. Kelly was found not guilty on all 14 counts he was charged with. Five of the twelve jurors talked to reporters after they handed down the verdict. The jurors said that they just couldn't reach a verdict even though they voted every hour on the hour. They said its mainly because there was "not enough evidence to prosecute," even though they all believed it was him on the alleged tape.
Jurors mainly stated the alleged victim not testifying, refusal to cooperate and denial that it was her were the main reasons the jury was split night to three towards not guilty. Jurors were also "absolutely disgusted" with the tape, saying the version they got to see was "clear as day" compared to versions on street corners and the internet.
