Mutli-platinum recording super group, 112, comprised of Slim, Duron, Q and Mike, are ready to release their hot new album, PLEASURE & PAIN today.
The group’s newest release, PLEASURE & PAIN, is a symphony dedicated to love, passion, intrigue, sex and offers a peek into each member’s unique personality. There are tracks that represent Slim’s energy, Duron’s passion for melody and production, Mike’s worldliness and Q’s love of physical activity.
The lead single, “U Already Know,” sets the stage and appropriately introduces the very sexy and soulful album. Produced by Focus and Sean Garrett, the single already has over 42 million in a radio audience and is charting on all the Billboard charts. The video, directed by Diane Martel hit all of the music channels. 112 wrote and produced the majority of the album and were also joined by superstar producers; Jermaine Dupri, Mario Winans and Track Boyz.
Shortly, 112 will hit the road to promote PLEASURE & PAIN with a nationwide tour punctuated by intimate performances and radio and television visits. 112 will also be making visits to community centers and schools to promote education and activism in the community.
The multi-platinum quartet will perform their chart topping single, “U Already Know,” Friday, April 1st on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
112 sold 2 million albums of their self-titled debut album in 1996. Since then the group has sold over 6 million albums fueled by the hit singles, “Cupid,” “Peaches & Cream” and “Only You.” They have performed in more than 10 countries to over 2 million people and have captured the # 1 spot on the Billboard chart with their previous releases.
