Tuesday, 12 February 2008 |   Written by Jason   PDF Print E-mail Post a Comment
Recently a judge who is presiding over the murder of C-Murder's trial, tossed out the rapper's request to have the case dismissed. C-Murders lawyers claimed that the orginal grand jury was tainted by prosecution witnesses. C-Murder is charged with second-degree murder for allegedly shooting a 16-year-old to death inside of a nightclub in 2002 and could face a life sentence if convicted. C-Murder was orriginally convicted for this crime in 2003 but the verdict was overturned when it was learned that prosecuters expunged the criminal records of certain witnesses in order to boost their credibility. The new trial will begin June 9th.
