LL on Broadway

LL Cool J is reportedly in talks to star in the Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams' "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

According to the New York Post, LL (born James Todd Smith) plans to land the leading role of Brick. The play will be directed by Debbie Allen who worked with the rapper on the NBC sitcom "In The House." Phylicia Rashad, Louis Gossett Jr. and Dreamgirls star Anika Noni Rose are also currently in negotiations for roles in the play.

LL is currently putting together his thirteenth solo album titled Todd Smith Pt. 2: Back To Cool. Slated for release this year, the album will be his last on Def Jam and will executive produced by 50 Cent.
