Fort Meyers, Florida rapper Plies lost a judgement in Montgomery, Alabama recently against a concert promoter.

According to the Montgomery Advertiser, Patrick Monifston of P Entertainment Promotions filed the lawsuit against Plies on July 16, claiming the rapper failed to appear at a July 8 show.

Over 1,500 fans bought tickets to see the rapper perform in Montgomery, but the day of the show Plies was still in Florida.

When the announcement was made that Plies would not make the show, several fights broke out amongst patrons, causing thousands of dollars in damages to the club.

Plies and his manager David Gay failed to appear in court to defend themselves, resulting in the default judgment.

Monifston sued the rapper for damages for breach of contract as well as slander, after Plies made remarks about him on WZHT Hot 105.

While terms of the judgment were not revealed, Monifston said it was at least $11,000, which cover the amount he spent to bring Plies to Montgomery, as well as the damages the club sustained.
