Remy Ma Fights With Victim On Hot 97

Days ago Remy Ma was sentenced to 8 years in prison. You would think that would be the end of the story but oh no, Remy and the victim had a war of words on Hot 97 recently. The victim, Barnes-Joseph, said that she cries whenever she talks about the incident. Remy Ma accused her of stealing $3,000 and later shot her. "I have these ugly scars. ... My stomach is crazy," she told radio host Miss Jones. "She's got a kid," Barnes-Joseph said. "She'll come out in eight years and see her kid. I might not be able to have kids."
When Remy heard her victim talking on the radio, she called up to give her side. Though the rapper had apologized in court for "not saving you from your physical and mental scars," Rem showed no such remorse on the air. "I don't care if 12 million say 'guilty,'" the Bronx-bred rapper said. "The same way she was there, I was there." "[She's] bending the truth," she continued. "She's stretching it to make it seem like she did nothing wrong. ... I don't got to shoot no girls."
Remy said she turned down a plea deal that would've carried a three-year sentence because she thought she'd be found innocent. "You think I would jeopardize being away from my child for five to 25 years if I even had an inkling that I was guilty of something?" she asked Miss Jones.
