Da Brat has been released from jail on $50,000 bond following her arrest on Thursday (November 1).
As we previously reported, Da Brat - real name Shawntae Harris - was arrested early Thursday after a shoving incident at Jermaine Dupri's Studio 72 escalated. The 33-year-old rapper allegedly hit a waitress in the face with a rum bottle.
Da Brat posted bond and was released Thursday night, according to the Associated Press. She was charged with aggravated assault.
As the first female rapper to go platinum, Da Brat is best known for her hit "Funkdafied" and appearances on Reality TV shows including "Celebrity Fit Club" and "The Surreal Life."
