Warren G Popped For Weed & Running A Red Light

    This DJ, he gets down, breaking laws all around town. Warren G was arrested today for possession of narcotics with intent to sell. The regulator was pulled over after police said the car ran a red light. Police discovered a large amount of marijuana in his car. G and a man named Ryan Butler both posted their $20,000 bail this morning.

    Warren G is now setting the record straight. He says “I was a passenger, I wasn’t driving," He continued, "And we didn’t run a red light. We just happened to be in a long line of traffic on Hollywood Boulevard and got caught in the intersection. The whole thing was bogus." Warren G says he was a passenger so he didn't know what was in the car. “From what I’m hearing, what they said at the police station, it wasn’t even an ounce,” continuing “They basically was just f**king with me because I’m Warren G. and they just wanted to get the publicity for arresting me.”

     Warren G is upset about the media coverage. “It’s not right,” Warren lamented. “They haven’t looked at the positive things that I do, like going down and talking to the kids in gang prevention programs. They don’t look at the things I do, like going down to the juvenile halls and talking to the kids. I do a lot of positive things. So for them to even say that I had marijuana is bogus. I could see if I had done something, but I didn’t do nothing.”
