Will Smith Wins Hitler Lawsuit

Will Smith sued and won a judgement against World Entertainment News Network (WENN) for misquoting his remarks regarding Hitler. WENN stated that Big Willie said Hitler was a "good person" when he actually said “Even Hitler didn’t wake up going, ‘let me do the most evil thing I can do today.’ I think he woke up in the morning and using a twisted, backwards logic, he set out to do what he thought was ‘good.’” WENN did print a retraction but a judge agreed that WENN had "wholly misrepresented" what Smith actually said and it caused him "acute embarrassment". The judge awarded Will Smith an uspecified amount of damages and attorney fees which Rachel Atkins, Will Smiths's attorney, says will be donated to charity.
