Swizz Beatz Calls It Quits With Wife Of 4 Years

As we reported yesterday, Kanye West recently split with his fiance. Now another big name in the Hip-Hop game is splitting with their partner. Swizz Beatz, the rapper and producer, is calling it quits with his wife Mashonda after four years of marriage. Mashonda is an R&B singer and married Swizz back in 2004. The two had one son, Kaseem Jr, who was born in January of 07. A rep for Swizz Beatz said that they split on “on amicable terms.”
The rep said “Their union was one shared in love and deep admiration for one another. For the last seven months, the two have been working on establishing a formidable friendship, being great parents to their son, and remaining great supporters of each other's careers,” continuing, “The couple has asked that their privacy be respected at this time.”
