T.I. was sentenced to 1000 hours of community service, the bulk of which was to speak to youth about the dangers of guns, violence and drugs. TIP started his tour of these speaking events and now some school districts are banning his appearance. The Fulton County school district said T.I. was banned from speaking due to his gun conviction.
Atlanta's WSB-TV channel 2 is reporting that an upcoming appearance by T.I. at Pebblebrook High School was canceled due to recent gang activity involving students as well as a recent death of a student. Cobb County School Disctrict, where Pebblebrook is located, officials say they didn't ban T.I. but they cancelled it because it's just really bad timing.
