Usually known for his trademark beats, super producer Timbaland is now accused of issuing a beat-down as German authorities arrested the Virginia-based artist on Sunday in connection with a bar brawl.
According to TMZ, Timbaland (Born Timothy Mosley) was arrested on Sunday (June 10) in Cologne, Germany as he and members of his entourage were accused of sending a man to the hospital after an altercation.
Timbo allegedly assaulted a man, known only as "Robert F," outside of the Hotel Intercontinental late Sunday night after a Justin Timberlake concert. The argument allegedly began when the man became upset over his girlfriend talking to the multi-platinum artist/producer.
According to German news reports, Timbo became physical with the man after he threw out a racial slur, calling him the "n-word." The altercation then apparently escalated, spilling from the lobby of the bar to the street in which the hotel is located. The man was allegedly sent to the hospital via ambulance and treated for minor injuries.
The producer was released on bail early yesterday morning (June 11) with German police stating that the matter is currently under investigation.
