Ghostface Killah is pushing ahead with a solo album featuring spots from several Wu Members dispite Wu-Tang Clan undergoing a collective meltdown.

Ghost will drop The Big Doe Rehab via Def Jam on December 4, a week before the Clan is set to drop their group effort, 8 Diagrams, which was originally slated to come out on the same day.

The solo album - a follow-up to last year's critically acclaimed Fishscale and More Fish - includes guest spots from Wu brethren Method Man, Raewkon, Cappadonna, U-God and Masta Killa as well as Roc Boy Beanie Sigel, Styles P & Ghost's Theodore Unit.

The first single "We Celebrate" features producer Kid Capri working in a sample of the Rare Earth classic "I Just Want To Celebrate."

The Wu wordsmith is currently touring with Rakim and underground phenom Brother Ali for the Hip-Hop Live! tour, which wraps on November 21 in Philadelphia.

Ghost also has a coffee-table book, The World According To Pretty Toney, set for release on January 8 through MTV Press. The book is dubbed "the modern hustler's guide to life" and includes tips on such topics as Living, Hustling, Love, Nutrition and Toneology with a companion audio disc.

As we previously reported, the Wu is undergoing some internal conflict surrounding the creative direction of their forthcoming album, 8 Diagrams. In a recent interview, Raekwon revealed that he and the other Wu members are so unhappy with Rza's guitar-laden, orchestral sound that they may come out with their own album, sans The Abbott, if changes aren't made.
