Asylum Records has announced a multi-faceted marketing and distribution deal with ColliPark Music, helmed by Mr. ColliPark, formerly known as DJ Smurf.

Mr. ColliPark, born Michael Crooms, signed Ying Yang Twins in 1997 and guided them throughout their career.

Mr. ColliPark also produced two of the Ying Yang Twins biggest singles: “Say I Yi Yi,” and “Wait (The Whisper Song).”

“’Wait (The Whisper Song)' was the first song featuring whispering as a musical concept,” Mr. ColliPark told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “People think that 'Wait' limits the concept of whispering to the Ying Yang Twins, but we will show that it can be used in many different ways."

The first two releases from the label come from Griffin, Georgia bred rapper HomeBwoi and the six-man collective, KadaLack Boyz. Asylum Records has announced a multi-faceted marketing and distribution deal with ColliPark Music, helmed by Mr. ColliPark, formerly known as DJ Smurf.
