Rapper Nicki Minaj will join other big artists like Rihanna and possibly Lady Gaga on a new digital album being put together by Universal Music. All of the artists featured on the project have waived their royalty fees all in an effort to help benefit the Japan Red Cross. Other artists featured on the album will include Justin Bieber, U2 and Bon Jovi. “Let's continue to keep the people of Japan in our prayers! We are all heartbroken for u,” Rihanna Tweeted following news of the earthquake.

“We are doing it only digitally because it is faster, and this will be a worldwide release. The plan is to have it available later this week,” a spokesperson for the Japanese Red Cross explained. The album is expected to be available in online stores later this week with 100% of the proceeds being sent directly to the Japan Red Cross.
