Ever since leaving Shady slash Aftermath, Obie Trice has been hard at work on his next effort "Special Reserve." The new album is a collaboration effort between Obie and rising producer and DJ Premier associate MoSS, who signed to Premo's "Works Of Mart" production company. Set to hit stores around December 15th, we aren't sure if is just a taste of Obie's music before he drops his "Bottoms Up" album or if it's a total replacement for it.
The eleven track album only features one guest apppearance (from Deuce Wonder on "Roughnecks"). Starting with the day he signed to Shsady Records, Obie has built a very strong fan base with his past w ork with artists like Raekwon, Ghostface, Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, AZ, Slum Village, Havoc, Kool G Rap, KRS-One/Buckshot etc. (Besides say Eminem, Dr Dre or 50 Cent). Obie Trice’s Special Reserve will be released on 12-15-09.
