Outkast’s Big Boi Has Tax Problems

    Outkasts own Big Boi had some bad news hit the web this week when reports that showed the rapper owes a lot of money to the state of Georgia for taxes. Better known to the government as Antwan Patton, reportedly owes more than $55,000 in delinquent state taxes, records show. The state of Georgia filed a $55,727 lien against Big Boi and his wife on June 1st in Fulton County Superior Court.

    In related news, Big Boi recently shut down the rumors that his new album, Sir Luscious Leftfoot, would be released on Def Jam Records. "It's not even on Def Jam," Boi said. "It's not even on Def Jam. I was in a little situation, the [journalist] jumped in the interview, we was in the midst of talks and then in the midst of that, some more things happened and we in a great situation right now. That'll be announced very soon. The album should be out I think — in about 12 weeks maybe. So you know, it's coming real soon."
