Diddy and his Bad Boy Records has been sued for copyright infringement over a Day26 song titled "Just Getting Started" so says singer Kirby Shields. The group hand-picked by Diddy released their "Forever in a Day" album containing the song and had it debut at number two on the Billboard Top 100 last spring.

Kirby Shields says his song "Im Just Getting Started" is "identical" to Day26's "Just Getting Started" track and Shields says the song was produced by Christian Davis Stalnecker, the same producer he hired to work "exclusively" with him. Diddy and his Boy Band Day26 debuted right behind the Hannah Montana Soundtrack with over 113,300 copies sold the first week.
