Although some people think the "Auto-Tune" effect on vocals is played out, Diddy isn't one of them. The hip hop mogul plans to use the effect on his new album. Not much is known about Diddy's new album but he has said that the "Auto-Tune" king, T-Pain, worked with him on innovative ways. Diddy is also using elements of electro music, “It’s electro Hip-Hop soul,” Diddy told InTouch Weekly, continuing “T-Pain gave me permission to use the vocoder, the Auto-Tune, and he showed me various tricks that nobody knows but him and myself.”
Diddys new album will feature production from T-Pain along with The Hitmen, Surf Club and Pharrell Williams. Pharrell recently told MTV "Puff's album is crazy," Williams promised. "Y'all should know that. It's pretty serious. It's innovative."
