The $130 million dollar civil suit that was filed against Sean "Diddy" Combs and former Bad Boy Records rap star Shyne dealing with the 1999 incident which involved a shooting at a Manhattan Night club is getting underway. Shyne was convicted of assault, reckless endangerment and gun possession and later setenced to 10 years in prison after he shot his gun in Club New York on the night in question and currently is serving his sentence in the Clinton Correctional Facility in New York State (expected to be released as early as next year), while Diddy was acquitted of all charges in the case. Now, according to MTV News, Diddy completed his deposition for the case and now lawyers need to take just one more from Bad Boy employee Derek Ferguson before the trial can begin. The suit was filed by victim Natania Reuben, who was shot in the face during the incident. A judge will decide whether or not Shyne acted alone or as part of the Bad Boy collective when he shot his gun before the case goes to trial. IF Diddy and Shyne are required to stand trial, it will be up to a jury to decide which if not both should bear responsibility for the shooting.
