R. Kelly Heading Back To ‘Closet’
According to his representative, Kells has a tentative release date for his LP: the end of May. No other details about the project — including its name — have been released, except that there are plans to put out more chapters of his "Trapped in the Closet" series in the summer after the album is released (see "Trapped In The Cabinet: Flatulent Little Person Takes R. Kelly Saga To A New Level").
Kelly recently shot a video for Fat Joe's "Make It Rain" remix in Miami with T.I., Lil Wayne, Baby, Rick Ross and newcomer Ace Mack (see "T.I., Lil Wayne, R. Kelly Help Fat Joe Fatten Up 'Make It Rain' Remix"). He also appears on the remix to Ciara's "Promise"; Young Jeezy's "Go Getta" (a video for that single was filmed last week in Atlanta); and Bow Wow's "I'm a Flirt." And that's not to mention "That's That Sh–," a Snoop Dogg track featuring Kelly that is still in rotation at many media outlets.
The Pied Piper also has a song of his own called "Don't Let Go," from the recently released soundtrack to the upcoming film "Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls."
There are also talks of Kelly concert DVD coming out this year as well.
