Three 6 Mafia, the Academy Award Winning rap group, will guest star on CBS's hit TV show NUMB3RS on Friday May 9th. In the episode, Don (Rob Morrow) and the FBI investigate the murder of a rap star and uncovers a conspiracy of embezzlement and bribery which may be connected to his death. Juicy J and DJ Paul will perform “Lolli Lolli (Pop That Body),” the first single from their new album “Last 2 Walk” which comes out on June 24.
Make sure you catch the episode on CBS on Friday, May 9th at 10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT.

Baby D, the Atlanta rapper, is being held in federal custody after being arrested for allegedly trafficking cocaine. Baby D was arrested on March 26th in Dayton, Ohio and is currently beind held without bond in ButlerCounty jail. This isn't the first time D has been in trouble with the law. He currently has three pending assault charges in Tennesse and a warrant for his arrest in Georgia was recently dismissed.
Baby D's new album, A-Town Secret Weapon, was slated to be released on April 29th on Koch Records. The album features guest spots from Gucci Mane, Shawty Lo, Pastor Troy, Sean Paul of the YoungBloodz and Lloyd. Baby D said of the album, "This album right here is 'gon do what it's supposed to do," he says.
"I'm expecting the unexpected. I'm giving my fans the opportunity to
say, 'I told ya'll Baby D was tight.' All my fans have been staying
down with me through putting out albums independently." He continued "This album is all new sounds and a whole new feel," he boasted. "It's probably my best creation ever." Ironically, a new video from Baby D hit the net today for his song "Do It". [watch it here]

Are you a fan of T.I.? If so, you will finally be able to hear some official material from his new highly anticipated album Paper Trail. Today, T.I. announced that next Tuesday (4/29), he will debut the first track from the album on his website, streetcred.com.
T.I. talked about the event saying “I already know the demand is great, the anticipation is very high, and the wait is almost over man,“ he said, continuing, “I promise you something special and I will deliver.” Although there is no release date scheduled for Paper Trail, reports have suggested the album may hit stores in September.

Recent news reports said that Eminem has "has been packing on the pounds, and that as a result of his weight
gain, has become a recluse, venturing out of his Detroit-area mansion
only to gorge himself on meals from Taco Bell and Outback Steakhouse." 50 Cent told MTV that despite what those stories say, Eminem is not "starting to look like an M&M."
50 Cent wanted to set the record straight. He said "Em is in shape right now. He looks good. I seen him in Detroit. He's gonna look real good when you see him return," continuing "He's in shape right now." 50 went on to say "The last time I seen him we played basketball together," continuing "He had a knee injury, so we chilled for a little bit."

David Banner is getting ready to release his fifth studio album, "The Greatest Story Ever Told" on June 3rd but David Banner says he has two more albums, some film roles and a weight-loss DVD ready also. "Most rappers in this day and time don't get to make it to their fourth or fifth album, so I feel very blessed," Banner said.
Banner talked about the follow up to "The Greatest Story Ever Told", an album called "13" which he says "It's different than anything anybody's ever heard," continuing "It's acid blues hip-hop. Everybody that's heard it don't know what to call it." David Banner also finished a companion album for his Adult Swim cartoon show, "That Crook'd 'Sipp" that will come out later this year.

The Associated Press is reporting that Foxy Brown accepted a deal from the state of Florida that would allow her to avoid jail time in the case that involved her getting into an altercation at a beauty supply store last year. Foxy will get six months of probation and perform 15 hours of community service in addition to paying court costs and fines.
As we previously reported, Foxy Brown's lawyer recently quit which left Foxy trying to make a plea deal on her out without the help of an attorney. The judge did give Foxy two weeks to find new representation and she was scheduled to be back in court on May 8th, but Foxy pleaded before having to do so.

Often referring to himself as the "Bad Guy" in G-Unit, Tony Yayo is set to play the role of KRS-ONE in the new Juice Crew movie called "The Vapors." Yayo Said “They came to me about playing the part of KRS-One so I was honored to even hear that.” Tony Yayo said his move into Hollywood is all part of his master plan to grow as an
entrepreneur. “I want to make my own [moves], ” he said. “I’m looking
towards movies right now. I’m working with people you wouldn’t even
believe.”
Blastmaster recently interviewed Yayo where Yayo confirmed that he would be playing KRS-ONE, who is the front man of Boogie Down Productions. KRS-One, a lyrical icon in hip-hop, went toe-to-to with the Juice Crew’s MC Shan throughout the late ’80s and said he was sure he’d be portrayed as a villain in the film. “Of course, and I hope they do,” he said. “I was a villain. It was no joke and that’s what it was" KRS-ONE said.

Houstons' own Mike Jones and R&B singer Lil Mo are set to take the stage tonigh at the club Touch in Manhattan to perform at ESPN The Magazine's annual NFL Pre-Draft Party. The famous director Spike Lee along with New York Giants stars Osi Umenyiora, Amani Toomer, and Brandon Jacobs are scheduled to attend the eventl.
In related news, Mike Jones recently announced that his long-delayed sophomore album, Voice of the Streets, will be hitting stores this July. The next single from the project will be “Cuddy Buddy,” featuring Lil Wayne, T-Pain, and Twista.

On Thursday, The Ralph Lauren store in Atlanta closed it's doors to the public and Ludacris hosted a private shopping event to hundreds of celebrities and members of the local area to benefit his Ludacris Foundation. Ludacris told the crowd it was the largest the event has had in it's three year history. "The turnout was amazing and the event was above expectation," said Chaka Zulu, CEO a of Disturbing Tha Peace Records and manager to Ludacris. "We know the Atlanta community is rich in so many ways and they constantly support DTP on so many levels."
Celebrities that attended the event included Fergie, Jazze Pha, India Arie, Bryan Michael Cox, Bubba Sparxx, Rich Boy, Polow, and 112's Darron Jones. Ciara, Ludacris, and Chaka Zulu hosted the event while a capacity crowd milled around making their selections. The event raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Ludacris Foundation. "We just wanted to speak and touch the community before we get back to the music grind," Chaka said, "We are gonna do what we have become known for: doing bigger and better things."
