As we previously reported, Remy Ma was scheduled to marry Papoose tomorrow but it was cancelled after Pap allegedly tried to smuggle a handcuff key to Remy Ma. Papoose was thrown in a cell and the wedding was cancelled. Papoose is now saying that isn't what happened at all. "The handcuff thing was ridiculous," Pap said at Remy Ma's sentencing, "The law states, if I carried a handcuff key into a prison, I would have been arrested."
DJ Kay Slay reported that Papoose has always had a skeleton key on his key chain and it's been present every time he has visited Remy in jail. When Pap was asked to turn over his key to a security gaurd, Pap did so without incident. Pap, along with Remy's mom and 3 guests, was going to the wedding when he was pulled aside and thrown in a cell.
Remys manager said it was a set up, saying "Pap has not missed one visit while she was at Rikers," continuing, "Every C.O. knows him. The skeleton key thing was bogus." "[Pap] knew something was up when they asked him to come back," he continued. "He never made it to the chapel. The officers told Remy they had to reschedule. No one told her what happened. She didn't find out until she spoke with Pap." When asked if they planned to reschedule the marriage, Papoose said "We're already married."

Just a few minutes ago in a Manhattan Criminal Court, Remy Ma was sentenced to 8 years in prison for a weapons and coercion charge. Remy was scheduled to be sentenced on April 23rd but the judge postponed the trial until today, so that Remy's lawyer would have time to prepare for the court date. On March 27th, Remy was found guilty of first-degree assualt, criminal weapons charges and attempted coercion for shooting her former friend last July.
Remy pleaded to the judge, "I stand here today as Remy Mackie," she said with tears in her eyes, "I'm a loving wife, mother and loving daughter and loving sister to my brothers and sisters." Remy spoke to the victim saying "I apologize for not saving you from your physical and mental scars."
In related news, Remy was supposed to marry fellow rapper Papoose tomorrow but Pap apparently tried to smuggle in a handcuff key to try and break her out of prison. "A wedding was scheduled today and a visitor to that wedding service was found to be in possession of jail contraband so the wedding was canceled," a corrections official said."The key that was found today easily opened handcuffs that we and other law enforcement officials use," the official said. Papoose was not charged after he voluntarily surrendered the key to authorities. He was quickly ushered out of the jail before reaching the Rose M. Singer chapel, where the two were set to be married. The two will now not be allowed visitation with each other until November of this year.

Wu-Tang member, The GZA, has announced that he is currently working on a new album called Protools. The album is being released on Liquid Swords Entertainment and Wu-Tang's Dreddy Kruger's Think Different Music will A&R the project. “This album is long over due, but it will be well worth the wait,” The GZA said.
The RZA and Bronze Nazareth will produce tracks for Protools. The last official album released featuring GZA was Wu Tang’s latest album 8 Diagrams. His solo album Protools will be released sometime this fall.

More details about Suge Knights recently altercation are starting to come out. 5-6 men apparently assaulted an unknown man in front of a club over a monetary dispute. An eye witness said that the men, including Suge, beat and kicked the man and Suge became really mad when he noticed another man was filming the beat down with his cell phone. Suge put the man who was filming the event into a headlock.
The man later broke free from Suge's grip, came back to the club and pulled out a pole-like object that was used to hit Suge on the back of the head. “Blood started gushing everywhere,” an eyewitness said. He sat on the sidewalk unconscious for several minutes. It's hard to see from the photos online, but there was a nasty gash on the back of his head."

Ludacris will soon spend a special day at the Fulton County school where he will have a gym named after him. The "Christopher Bridges Gym of Dreams" will be in honor of the MC. Luda will also take part in a tree planting ceremony at the school, which has faced tough times recently.
Tony Edwards, one of the event organizers, confirmed Ludacris will be at the event that will show students letters (that voiced concerns about problems they have faced including rape, gang violence, and pressure to sell drugs, put into a casket and buried. Edwards is also producing a television documentary series following Ludacris called "Behind The Mic."
Todays event will also see school leaders apologize to Ludacris for their previous reluctance to accept his aid. Fellow Atlanta artists Killer Mike and Monica (who is also Ludacris' cousin) will also be in attendance. Monica is scheduled to address female students at the school, while V103's DJ Infamous is set to deejay the event.

Spliff Star, the long time hypeman for Busta Rhymes, was arrested in Stockholm, Sweden yesterday (May 10) on a suspicion of drug possession charge. Stockholm Police raided Busta and Spliff's hotel rooms and although nothing illegal was found in Busta Bust's room, they did find an unidentified substance in Spliff's. He was arrested after a performance with Busta at Berns on Saturday.
Spliff was released from Police custody after he provided a urine sample that will be tested for drugs. Busta Rhymes is currently serving three years of probation after he pleaded guilty in January to various charges from two seperate assault cases.

Young Buck hasn't spoken out much since he was kicked out of the G-Unit group but that recently changed when Buck was interviewed on XM radio. "A lot of this sh*t that 50's doing towards my situation, I'm just not used to," Buck said. 50 Spoke about Sha Money saying "The minute that 50 went public and said, 'yo Buck, you kicked out of G-Unit,' Sha Money pretty much disappeared from me for like two, three weeks."
Buck talked about never being close to 50 saying, "50 Cent has never been to my house," he explained. "50 don't know where I live, on my child's life. I don't even think he'd know my child's first and last name if I asked him." Snoop and Buck have talked. "[Snoop Dogg] comes to my city, Cashville, Tennessee," he said. "This motherf*cker really showed my city more love than any motherf*cker... and that goes for anybody and everybody. He hung out in the hood and the projects - sh*t like that, you can't buy with money. Money can't buy that sh*t. I appreciate that sh*t more than anything in my life. It was so real."
Buck isn't letting any of this stop him. He is currently working on his new label, Cashville Records and his new line of clothing. "I'm focused at this point and I'mma stay this way," Buck said. "I'm more happier than I've ever been in my career. I ain't lying."

Suge Knight, everyones favorite westcoast don got knocked out Saturday (May 10th) Night at Shag Nightclub in Hollywood.
Suge was talking to a guy and the conversation was friendly at first. Then it turned into a heated arguement. Suge shouted, "I want my money!" Suge then rushed the guy with the help of his posse, and began hitting and kicking him. During the fight, Suge put a random guy in a headlock, demanding his cellphone.
People outside the club broke up the fight, and as the beatee got up, he landed a right hook to Suge's face, knocking him out cold. We're told Suge Knight was out for nearly three minutes. His peeps then rushed him into a nearby SUV. BTW, after Suge woke up, he began yelling for the phone he had just taken from the random guy. A woman than got in the driver's seat of the SUV, pulled forward and hit a car, then put it in reverse and hit another car. She was taken from the car by security, and someone else drove Suge away from the scene.

Oscar winning group, Three 6 Mafia, is planning a trip overseas. DJ Paul and Juciy J are getting ready to go on their first trip across the world and they will be documenting it online, via XXL's website.
Recently we reported that Three 6 Mafia would be appearing on the CBS show Numb3rs. Paul and Juicy will play a rap group comprising of members Hunter and Roland. The group will perform their new single “Lolli Lolli (Pop That Body)” from their upcoming album, Last 2 Walk, due in stores June 24th.
“We’re onstage and a fight breaks out, I leave out the stage and I get shot,” Juicy J said. “Man, they just told me they want me to do it. You get shot. I was like, whatever.”
