As Jay-Z warned two years ago during his last performance at Summer Jam, you do not want to be the next contestant on the Summer Jam screen. The object of Jay's scorn was Mobb Deep's Prodigy, and this year (in 2002 the screen took a rest because headliner Nas was a no-show) 50 Cent made Ja Rule a super-sized object of ridicule.

The Southside Jamaica, Queens, rapper started his set with a special public service announcement that played on the three screens hanging above the stage. 50, who sat at a computer during the PSA, could barely be heard over the crowd's screams as he said it had been brought to his attention that some of the fans could not identify a "bitch ass n---a." He then showed a clip from the "Mesmerize" video where Ja tells Irv Gotti that he's giving up the streets for Ashanti. The words "bitch ass n---a" were displayed below Ja and Irv, and people started laughing.

50 then brought out other "exhibits," including the videos for "Rainy Dayz" and "I Cry." He said that he knew that what he was showing on the screen was not hip-hop, Ja knew it was not hip-hop and Irv knew it was not hip-hop.

The MC's G-Unit crew was then showered with cheers and rain, taking the stage while the instrumental of Black Rob's "Whoa!" played. "Where's my little n---a?" 50 asked, beckoning for his young son to join him onstage. "We breed gangstas," he boasted as the boy came on, dressed like his dad in a Yankees cap, jeans and a miniature bulletproof vest covering his tiny frame.

"What the f--- is going on?" the tyke asked, putting on his deepest voice. "Geeeee-Uniiit!"

"Gotta Make It to Heaven" and "Wanksta" kicked off the set, with 50 running around the stage and throwing his Yankees fitted cap to the crowd. He turned his attention back toward his lyrical foe with "Back Down" as he and the crowd rocked from side to side.

Rick's case has been on hold since March, awaiting Judge Kimba Woods' decision on whether or not he can stay in the United States.

"Rick can't get that year back," Rick's publicist Bill Adler told
AllHipHop.com. "He should be released while he awaits the decision."

In December, Rick's lawyers filed an emergency stay of deportation, with hopes of keeping the embattled rapper in the United States, after the INS ruled to deport him back to England

Woods blocked the deportation ruling on December 27, just one day before he was scheduled to be deported.

Both sides presented their case to Woods in March and after three months, a ruling has yet to be issued.

According to Adler, due to new phone rules at the prison, Rick has had problems reaching the outside world.

"He hasn't even been able to speak his wife, it's been at least a week since he has communicated with anyone."

Slick Rick, a native of Great Britain, has lived in the United States since the age of 11. He faces deportation because of a 1990 incident, in which he shot his cousin and a bystander.

Rick served five years in 12 days in prison because of the incident. According to United States law, any non-citizen who serves more than 5 years in prison must be deported.

Eminem snagged two MTV Movie Awards for his performance in "8 Mile." Eminem took honors for best male performance and best breakthrough male performance for his role as "Rabbit" in the semi-autobiographical film.

Because he was absent, Eminem pre-taped two messages for the crowd.

"I heard Puffy would be there and I chickened out," he told the audience of his absence.

When he won for best breakthrough male performance, he took a shot at Mariah Carey saying "I can't believe I beat Mariah (Carey) for 'Glitter.'"

Other winners were Kirsten Dunst for her kissing work in "Spider Man," the animated character Yoda for best fight scene in "`Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones,'' and Austin Powers for his comedic performance in "Austin Powers In Goldmember."

The 12th annual MTV Movie Awards will air Thursday on MTV.

The budding businessman retorted with “F*ck no” and offered no further elaboration.

Currently the rapper has a number of upcoming lawsuits against Cash Money as he maintains that he has not received any royalty payments for his tour of duty with Baby and Slim Williams. According to B.G. he has yet to be properly compensated for his contributions to the recently released Hot Boy's album, Let Em Burn and a number of other past projects.

However, B.G. hinted that he would be party to an official Hot Boys reunion, “if the money was right.”

While he has no intention of returning to Cash Money he was stunned that Juvenile did go back after taking such a rebellious stance against the multimillion dollar making label.

"I was kinda shocked, but f**k it, he doing him and I'm doing me. I mean, after all we done been through, I don't understand why, but f**k it, that's the decision he made. I hope he know what he doin'," said B.G. to AllHipHop.com.

But, he insisted, he is not angry. "I ain't even much trippin' off of it, I ain't got no beef with him, that's his decision and I ain't worrying about nothing but me and mine."

Progressively, B.G. is focusing on the promotion of his seventh album, Livin' Legend , and preparing for the release of his brother Hakim's debut album, Street Poetry, slated to be released this summer on Chopper City Records.

He's nowhere as nice with the stuntwork as Lee Majors' bounty-hunting "Fall Guy" character, Colt Seavers, but Baby seemed oblivious to that when he was riding in South Beach on the outside of his crimson Cadillac Escalade while the cameras filmed his new Bille Woodruff-directed video, "Gangsta Girl." He had his butt on the roof, one leg draped over part of the windshield and his other foot on the passenger side of the window, rhyming to the record.

Meanwhile, the song's guest star, R. Kelly, draped in a Joe Montana, Kansas City Chiefs throwback, opted to stand, riding on the door of a red drop-top Benz and flanking Baby's ride on the left.

"You can catch me in the club with a gang-sta giiirrl," the R&B legend boasted, singing along with vocals he'd recorded earlier in the day.

During the scene, there were plenty of vehicles and sexy women in the background.

"When I ride I'm gonna ride with a gang-sta giiirrl," he continued with Baby and Fresh dancing beside him. "When I smoke I'm gonna smoke with a gang-sta giiirrl/ When I freak, I'm gonna freak me a gangsta."

Later on that night, with Woodruff still coaching from the set's sideline, the gangsta party continued on the beach, getting rowdy at times.

"At a gang-sta par-dee, she'll be drinking Bacardi," rapped Baby, bouncing to the guitars, chimes and flutes that the song's producer, Kelly, used to invoke a Middle Eastern feel. "And she pops her body/ Don't you hurt nobody.'

Fresh later jumped in with his humorous rap tale. "Once upon a time in this place called 'hood/ Where the beautiful girls shake it and they all smell good/ Lived this legendary pimp by the name of Fresh/ Fixed hair, fixed nails, fixed toes, fixed breast."

"Gangsta Girl" is the first single off the Big Tymers' next LP, Big Money Heavyweights, due July 29. Besides Kelly, the group also hosts appearances by most of the acts on Cash Money. As always, Mannie Fresh handled many of the tracks and Kelly and Jazze Pha also contributed beats.

The song and video are just a sample of what's to come from Kelly and Cash Money. No details are available yet, but according to the #1 Stunna, the two sides will also be teaming up to star in a movie.
