Officials raided Murder Inc.'s recording studio, nicknamed "The Crackhouse," on Friday in addition to searching the label's midtown Manhattan offices, music industry sources said Monday.
A joint task force of federal investigators and NYPD officers searched the locations as part of a probe looking into alleged ties between Murder Inc. and convicted drug lord Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff.
According to the FBI, no one was arrested during the raids, but two men have been arrested elsewhere in connection with the larger investigation. The two are suspected to be associates of McGriff, but it is not known whether they are also involved with Murder Inc., the hip-hop/R&B label home to artists such as Ja Rule,Ashanti,Charli Baltimore,Cadillac Tah.

The Outlawz & Bone Thugs n Harmony will hit the studio later this month to start working on an album they will drop together hopefully for later this year. The group will be called Thug Brother's.
In addition, The Outlawz are also embarking on the "Better Dayz Tour" which will be a tribute to fallen rap legend, Tupac Shakur. The tour is scheduled to start early 2003, hopefully by February, and will cover the United States!
In what is set to be a busy year, The Outlawz also plan to drop a new album, but are keeping it heavily under wraps. On their website, the state, "The album will be out sometime in 2003 and it WILL be on a major label. The Executive Produers of the album are the Outlawz & Rico Wade from the Dungeon Family. Some of the guest that will be on the album are
Jazzy Pha, T.I, Bone Thugs, E-40, Eric Sermon, Eightball...... and a couple other suprises."

"50 Cent” was arrested on weapons charges in Manhattan early Tuesday morning.
The hip-hop star, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was in an SUV with four other men when it was stopped for a traffic violation near the Jacob Javits Convention Center at approximately 2 a.m.
Officers noticed a handgun, which was loaded, on the floor of the truck, according to police. All five men were arrested, and police found a second loaded handgun during a search of the vehicle.
All five were charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Jackson was a protégé of Run-DMC DJ Jam Master Jay, who was murdered in Queens in October
