According to a story that first broke on CMDegreez.blogspot.com, former Cash Money Records rapper Alvin “Stone” Nelson died in a Louisiana Prison. The initial indication is that it was from natural causes.
“Stone”, who was a part of the D-Boyz duo along with his partner “Lac” died of what is being simply called natural causes; however, from a medial perspective, natural causes can be anything outside of any form of trauma induced death, such as homicide or suicide or any type of accident. Natural causes could be heart attack, stroke, cancer, and multitudinous other illnesses or diseases.
As a New Orleans native, “Stone” broke into the game while helping to manage one of Soulja Slims artist. He subsequently decided to test the waters as a rapper. During the course of his career, he had the opportunity to work with artists like Mac 10, Juvenile, and T.I. He co-wrote Big Tymers’ “Still Fly”.
Upon leaving Cash Money The D-Boyz duo founded D-Boyz Entertainment, later penning a deal with 404 Music Inc. where they released “Life of a D-Boy”.
After hearing of the news former Cash Money Star, Juvenile took to Twitter to express his sentiments.
