Keke Palmer admits that she has been a TLC fan for as far back as she can remember. According to Vibe, the nineteen year old Chicago Native has been casted to play the role of one of her favorite singers, Rozanda (Chilli) Thomas in the upcoming VH1 TLC Biopic.
Palmer will be joining Lil Mama, who will be playing the role of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and Drew Sidora, who will be playing Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins. Palmer makes the third and final member of the Cast for the Biopic, which starts filming in Atlanta next month.
Keke is no stranger to the recording studio, growing up the youngest daughter of a background vocalist that would take palmer and her older sister, L’Oreal, to the studio while she did her recording sessions. Palmer, also released her first album, “So Uncool” in 2007. She is also planning to release her second album this year, which will be a self-titled LP.
Before this, Keke’s most recent music related film project was last year’s “Joyful Noise” in which she worked along side Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah.
